Tempered Glass Twin Cities Metro
« on: December 17, 2003, 02:14:21 pm »
Anyone have any places they suggest to get a piece of Tempered glass or smoked Tempered glass cut for a cocktail top in the Twin Cites Metro area of Minnesota?

Sorry, I really can't help but I called about 10 of the bigger
companies listed in the yellow pages and all quotes were
about 80-100 bucks. The smoked being closer to the 100 dollar range.
This seems a little high according to what others
have found in other areas. This was for a pac-man style
with radius corners and beveled edges and 1/4" I think.

This was almost a year ago, and I never did buy anything.
But if you find a good source, please share.
Or, if anyone else knows a good place

The radius corners are what jacks the price up. I recently had to buy a piece for an Invaders mini (converted to Pac-Mame) and I got tempered, smoked and it was only $20.

Heck, it might have even been cheaper, my buddy ordered it from a glass guy he works with, I never saw the receipt or anything, for all I know he paid $5 for it and kept the rest of the $20 I gave him.  ;D
