Its no longer tom cruse crazy.

This is bittersweet news for me. On one hand, it's awesome you fixed the issue.     But on the other hand, crazy Tom Cruise is the best Tom Cruise.

Also, did you do this after you got it working?

... I know I would.  :)

Cutting the plastic piece and rotating them.  Genius.  Most people would have either cut the wires or re-crimped a new connector.   :applaud:

Looks great!

I'm personally surprised in myself that I didn't try to source a new set of compatible connectors.  :dizzy:

I NEED to replace the pots on the back by the audio board.  I'm debating getting the remote kit from twisty wrist or just the pots themself. If I do just the pots I'll see if Ian Kellogg can source me a set.

Get the remote kit. I bought that for my Ms. Pac, and it was the best thing I ever did monitorwise for it.

I know it may seem a little absurd to spend $23 on wire strippers but these Irwins are legit. Incredibly well built and durable. Unlike the no-name knock-offs. I definitely have it in my MVP tool drawer.

It's one of those tools you have to use to really believe it.
