about spammers

I was looking for a post by woodshed woodshop flunky.  There is an alphabetical sequence after wood* of around 10 "users."

/edit was autocorrected on cell phone.

There's almost 3 pages of "wood___" usernames.   :lol

Most of them are part of the just over 37,450 of 54,580 BYOAC accounts (68.6%) that have zero posts.   :o

Saint's considering a mass purge of the non-posting (potential  :spam:) accounts.

Lucky for you, slippyblade, and kiwasabi that Kevin recognized your usernames when he did this type of cleanup over at the KADE Forums.

You guys never even posted in The Official "I'm not a Spambot" Thread.   :lol

Which was clearly meant as a trap that they artfully avoided.

Feel free to delete woodkkhz, woodzhez or even woodhhjz. Just leave woodhzzk Alone! He's a good non-poster, I am sure of it. Unlike that woodhrzh. That guy should have been banned months ago.

this alot to do about ?? spammer's
not other site's but right here...
if siant would purgde this would olny take away part of the problem
>old account's<,it would how ever, not take care of the under lying problem.
the olny way to do this i posted on..a complete server purge, where u need to re-reg/password,and answer the goffie q at the end of it >box with 6 digit's<
this make's u a human at-least...no 1 said u cannot have your handle/nick/op back
but what it will do is purge..
we do it all the time in my sub server set's
as i run multi wire-less network's..i troll looking for them..

My new favorite thing is to see a fresh new batch of like 10 spam posts , then I report one.  Then I stop, even if its 10 different user names.

Why?  Cause I get agitated at the 30 second cool down between post reportings.  :burgerking:
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

Thanks for reporting.

Since spammers are like cockroaches (if you see one, there are more of them) one report per batch is enough for us to EXTERMINATE. . . EXTERMINATE. . .
