1953 AMI ROWE E80 JUKEBOX HELP
« on: August 06, 2014, 02:28:37 am »
Hey, I'm new to the jukebox world, i have a few cocktail arcades but i bought a 1953 Ami Rowe E80 jukebox and I need a little help with it.
First, when i moved it in, i plugged it in and it grabbed a record and started wanting to play it. Heres the thing, i taped the needle and turntable during the move and quickly rushed and moved the arm to remove the tape, and now its just spinning like it thinks its playing the record. The arm is locked so I can't move it to the spinning record. What can I do.

Second, I bought it knowing that only the first 30 or so songs work. Would that be a fuse or wiring problem on the other buttons?

I bought it dirty, but lights up and before it just spins now worked well, chain worked great, the sound was a little low but I think it has to do with the amount of dust and dirt on the speaker.

any help is greatly appreciated

thanks
Eddie

By not fully "undoing" everything that was secured for transporting the machine before plugging it it, you might have bent/damaged something.

I suggest you hop on over to the jukebox forum at www.phonoland.com where more detailed information can be found.
