Securing Chassis to Frame
« on: July 18, 2014, 12:16:31 pm »
Hey All - hopefully quick question. I obtained a 25" WG with no chassis, and replaced it with a universal. I have an older thread on the issues/repair/etc, but this question is unrelated so I'm posting it separately, hope that's fine:

The universal replacement chassis is a different size/shape than the original, so the normal placement, holes, etc do not match up. How would I go about safely securing the new chassis to the frame? Drill holes, use some screws/bolts? Need nylon or non-conductive fasteners? I just want to make sure I get this thing snug on there, and don't have anything touching metal that shouldn't be.

Thanks!
