Wells Gardner Arcade Monitor Identification???
« on: January 10, 2004, 09:10:33 am »
I recently bought an NFL Blitz 2000 Gold Edition Cab. and I think it has a 25inch Wells Gardner monitor.  I have measured the monitor that is how I know it is a 25" and the number below starts with WG (I assume that means Wells Gardner) but I have no idea what model it is.  The only number I can find is WG1182258.  I assume that is the serial number.  How do I find out what the model is?

Are there any number on the boards themselves, such as P538 or P447 or anything like that?  What about the tube--what model is that--something like A63ADG25X--can you see the neckboard--any number there?  Best bet--take a picture (640x480) and post.

On one of the boards (sorry I am not an expert at this) that connects to the monitor I see in small print "P602" across the top then on the same board I see larger print that says "P723".  Is this any help?  I have a digital camera but left the damn thing at work.  If I need to I can take a picture in several hours.
Thanks.

Yes, post a picture. Take some pix from the rear of the monitor showing a general view of the main monitor circuit board and neck board. In the upper left corner (closest to the picture tube) of the main circuit board on later model WG monitors is a small paper label with two sets of numbers on it. Somewhere on the metal frame of the monitor is a model number label like 25K7191 etc.

Remember all monitors look alike from the front!

Sorry for the bad pic but the back top of my cabinet won't come off so it is extremely hard to get a good angle for a picture.   I did find the numbers 025X3387-00 located near one of the monitor boards.  Is that the model #?

I attached a picture but I can't see it any place?  When I try to do it again it says that it already exists.  Am I doing something wrong?

No, that is not the model number. Wells-Gardner always has a "K" in the model number like 25K7191 as an example.

Re-attach the pic under a different name--make sure the pic doesn't exceed 250Kb in size and has a resolution of 640x480

Here's the pic ( I hope).  Sorry it is not more detailed.  Is there part of the monitor I should try and zoom in on.  Like I said before it is hard to get very close to the monitor because the back top part of the cabinet will not detach so it is next to impossible to get a picture looking down at the monitor boards.

Well I have never had  as many problems trying to attach a picture as what I am encountring now.  I have renamed the pic and the size is 48kb.  I have no idea why I can't attach this picture?

P723 is an optional board which connects to the main board of a K7000 monitor.
