Neph's Wallmount
« on: April 05, 2014, 08:49:57 pm »
A couple years back a friend of mine gave me a couple of XP machines. One I planned on turning into a juke. A while later I picked up a 21" touchscreen off ebay. Every once in a while I'd fiddle around with designs in sketchup, but this project has always been on the back burner. Yotsuya's juke convinced me to go wallmount, and this was the design I decided to go with (on the left). Kinda looks like an old school ipod.

Thanks to some vector help from yotsuya, I was able to create a .dxf file for DMEN to load up on his laser. And the result is AMAZING! Just picked this baby up today.

Even has a nice grained finish like the CPs on the Beast.

I've got pretty much all the parts right now, so it's just a matter of building a box for the most part. RGB LEDs will make this thing pop when she's all finished. I planned on this being a spring project, but it looks like it'll have to wait until this summer to get some attention.

Dmen's laser does a great job. Wish my plasma cutter was that clean.

Can't wait to see the final product!
