Taito big event golf trackball problems
« on: March 19, 2014, 03:31:08 pm »
My Big event golf machine trackball only goes to the right. Has anyone had this problem? I installed a known working trackball and it still goes right. I figure it may be an input chip but I dont have a schematic to work with. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

the first chip your trackball runs into is going to likely be the issue. it will be closest to where the trackball harness cable plugs onto the board. They are pretty sensitive to static and tend to get zapped. get the number off it (like 74HCT206 or whatever) and get one off ebay shipped from china for cheap. That way you are only out 99 cents if it's not the issue.
