mameui 64 Crashing
« on: October 15, 2016, 01:32:22 pm »
Hi All,

I'm new to the emu scene and I'm having a bit of trouble. I've installed Mameui64 0.178 and I have added the full romset 0.178 (with the bios files), I've run an audit and I've tried to run a few games but overtime I try to start a game it crashes.

Is there something I've done wrong?
System core duel duo, on board graphics.

Thanks Jeff

What OS ?? - Is it a new system or have you played games on it in the past ? - When it crashes does it give any error message - crash to desktop - crash entire system ??

If a new system that you have not run games on it could be some missing DirectX files causing the system to not be able to run the games - so try installing/reinstalling the microsoft directX runtimes ( https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 )
