CP Viewer & video player help
« on: January 11, 2014, 02:59:56 pm »
Hiya folks!

I finally have time to work on a MalaFE Version of my AtomicFE Layoutbut I'm having a few issues I'm hoping someone can help me with.

1. Control Panel View - this is a MalaFE feature I would like to use, but I'm unsure how to go about it. The only CP viewer/maker I found was CPWizard but I can't seem to get it to work. I want CPs to appear right before a game launches or to appear on the FE as players filp through games. Any suggestions or walkthroughs I can use to help me out?

2. Jukebox - I want users to be able to view various arcade inspired music videos and movie trailers - do have a suggestion on how I could do that?

Thanks,

WonderAlex

1a. Mame Config - Control Panel Viewer; I use Johnny5; make sure it works outside of MALA then it should work fine when a game is called
1b. Controller - Keyboard - External Applications ; use that to call your CP viewer with a hot key
1c. If controls.ini is referenced then it will show up in the Info window if Controls type is defined
