BEATMANIA 4TH MIX
« on: November 26, 2003, 03:36:41 am »
Hi all

I have a question...Beatmania 4th mix and Mame v77. I have downloaded all files in .rar format. Extracted the .chd file and can get it working...UPTO the part where it is checking the roms ram etc. It checks them all except for the S rom and HDD.

Is there something i am doing wrong?

Thanks

You have to be patient. It takes several minutes to go through the startup sequence on my XP 2100 and a lot more time on slower machines. It appears to be doing nothing, but it is.

You need a 3GHz+ machine to run it properly anyway. If it skips frames the music will choke.

I run it fine on a 1.5ghz computer.  It only skips once in a while, most of the time because another program comes up in the background.

And by using the save state feature, I've eliminated boot time (you only have to do it once)

just some tips for people
There is SO a spoon.
