MaLa + Led-Wiz startup question

Hi,

So I have a cab running MaLa & MAME and just finished wiring one Led-Wiz to all my player 1 buttons and one trackball (all RGB). Before I wire the rest (OMG, how am I going to cram all that into my tankstick...) I thought I'd run for a while with what I got (baby steps!)

Where do I go now? LedWiz plugin or LedBlinky? Or something else?

I tried LedWiz plugin, but I can't find a complete download, the ledwiz_readme.txt talks about things that are not in the archive (some LWA animations, a Doc folder, etc.) and there are some German links that are broken. The download I have is from the MaLa plugins page and looks old (2007). Then the LedBlinky link goes to a site that looks complex and there's some commercial version there and options way beyond a simple plugin.

Oh yeah, the goal is to do all that cool stuff - highlight buttons as you scroll through MaLa, event animations (when someone puts a coin it goes nuts flashing things), speak controls at Mame game start, insane attract modes, you know, the works.

But I'm just stupid and lost, I thought the wiring is the hard part. Please tell me where to start?

Ughhhh... nevermind... sorry for the dumb post (mods, feel free to delete). I went to the Ledblinky website and there's a ton of documentation there.
