Thanks BadMouth for the hint  :applaud:

How is that with 2 functions on one axis to understand?
Is it a pot that is centered and sends the signal for acceleration if turned in one direction and for breaking if turned in the opposite direction?

I am just on the site of the U-Hid to get some enlightment....hope I understand it.....

Would the U-Hid work with the original pots or....?

IIRC Hang-On had the brake and throttle wired together as one axis, so that might need to be undone to separate them.

--- End quote ---

I still dont understand what that means....please explain.
I won the cabinet and pick it tomorrow....so all advices are valueable

Well, I'm not sure if it was or not.  Just thought I remembered a comment about it being that way.
Check the manual.

I haven't done it.
It's either this:

(jacked from this thread: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,12551.0.html )
or this:

M2 emulator requires separate axis (it's about the only thing that does).

I understand it now.
Maybe I dont a clue about that but for my understanding it is not a big problem. When I dont use the stock-harness (which I wouldŽnt if I go with the U-HID) I would have seperated axis, right?

I wire every pot seperately in the U-HID and I shouldŽnt have a problem.

I already have the cabinet at home and started to dismantle it, would be nice if you join in that thread too:

Ps: I just checked it, its like you said, even 2 of the 3 cables go through both pots.

I rather see the problem when I comes to emulate Hang-On because of the that system and the fact that its not like that with the U-HID.....but maybe I am wrong on that...

I should really start paying attention to this threads.  As I mentioned in the other one this is not the sit-down model, it is the upright model.

I'm not being picky it's just a few years from now somebody is going to be searching the forums to get info on the sit-down, run across this, and be disappointed.
