Its in fact the sit-down model, you most probably misstake with the "ride-on-model"

You may think its just an upright with a bench, the truth is that it is around 8" lower than the previous one.

That's the bench seat model.  There was no way of knowing because you removed the bench.

I was going to ask what the difference between the bench seat and upright models were - but it appears to be just that (and a decal package maybe?)

I did not remove the bench, it just was like that.
I would give an arm and a leg for an original bench.
But will end up welding my own one someday.
