He's in his time out cage.

Also added this.  Best $10 I've ever sent in this hobby.

I just played Alien Poker at The White Rose Gameroom Show in York, PA about a week ago.  I was surprised at how enjoyable it was.  Congrats!

Alien Poker was one of those take a gamble situations.  I had never played one and this one was dead.  It had some of the strangest damage I've ever seen on boards - one of the drive transistors for the sounds burned a hole through the driver board.  All the logic that controlled that transistor was smoked, and the subsequent resistors and buffer chip on the sound board were blown.

Of course, everything tested fine with those "Leon chips."

Anyway, I bit the bullet and slapped a Rotten Dog combo board in it and nabbed another sound board.  I'm sure I'll lose ---my bottom--- on it when it's time to trade/resell but it is actually a fun game.

Spectrum's a loaner.  It had a few goofy problems that I semi-permanently corrected by adding a wall wart and modifying the service plug to come off and on with the machine.  I had actually played a few Spectrums over the years and thought, "well, maybe there's more to it."  Nope, there isn't.  Game's a borderline stinker and not all that challenging.  Should have known better after owning a Xenon for awhile.

Dart machine - bought 2, got one complete and working from the parts.  Cap kitted the monitors and they still sucked.  Goodwill 13" TV for the win.

So, are you telling us you are the original Pinball Jim, and that you joined with a new nick and different e-mail address? Or, are you just confusing when you post?

From the garage?  I can't even remember them all anymore.   ???  Konkey Dong is the only thing out there now.  I still have Suspense and WCS 94, other additions are in the photographs in this thread.

Why the hell would anyone lie about being me?  Trust me, whatever I've got - you don't want it.

It was a Sharpshooter 1 with a Sharpshooter 2 backglass.  I sold it and a month later, the new owner's stepson was climbing around on it, tipped it over, and smashed the head and the backglass.  RIP Sharpshooter 1.5 and I guess the value of those SS2 backglasses went up another $5.

Spy Hunter and Pool Sharks went back to their owner.  Jacks to Open and Seawitch were sold.  That about cover it?

Can you really (really?) blame anybody for wanting to be sure? I mean, you broke many a heart, sir.

;)

I'm going to go out on a limb and say I think this is really him/you. Why? That avatar. Many would remember it, but a very limited few would have it available.

People are going to want to know why you intentionally harmed the integrity of the forum archives on your way out.  Leaving is one thing.  Spending many hours removing posts in a way that left a lot of important threads making little sense is a different thing.

If you want to be welcomed back the process can start with you explaining your drawn out and bizarre departure.

I'm taking what you say at face value.  I agree with Rick, the avatar is as good as a social security number comparison, basically.

Welcome back and I may start posting on my pinball adventures again.  (finished the sharpshooter restore, got a Black rose, solar fire and black knight, etc.

Spending many hours removing posts? Guess you dont know how scripts work. I dont recall him asking to be welcomed back and I dont see why he has to explain his actions. He did what he did because he wanted to. Same reason X posts 500 word replies with terrible metaphors. Same reason Im a dick 82.1% of the time. Same reason you act like a total Chadhole.

It's not the same.  You and I do not intentionally harm the forum.  Removing thousands of posts has had a serious impact on a lot of threads that contain a lot of valuable hobby information.  The archives here are the most valuable set of information in this hobby.  Nobody has been able to come up with a rational reason for removing all of those posts other than "he wanted to stick it to BYOAC".  If he had one, let's hear it, because damaging this archive is something we shouldn't tolerate.
