Ultimate Bartop II Monitor
« on: October 10, 2013, 01:51:04 pm »
Hi all,

I'm getting a parts list together for the Ultimate Bartop II (by NorthCoast Custom Arcades), and in the description for the monitor, it lists:

  • Fits most 19" 4:3 LCD monitors

I was under the impression that all 19" monitors were 5:4.  That is, I haven't been able to find a 19" monitor that is 1024x768 or 1600x1200.  If I'm wrong on this, please let me know as I'd love to use a 4:3 monitor since that's what the specs list.

To existing users of the Ultimate Bartop II kit:  would it be safe to use a 5:4 monitor, or would it not fit into the frame because of the slightly different dimensions?

Thanks for your time,
Brian
