JPAC and ArcadeVGA help
« on: August 28, 2013, 03:44:22 pm »
I had my PC up and running in my cab on windows 7 with a jpac and arcadevga. I took it out to play with hyperspin and never got it running. I put everything back in and now I get a split screen and cant figure out why. none of the adjustments fix this problem on the monitor. when it first boots into bios and windows loading screen its fine. once it loads into windows this is what i get. any ideas?

Reboot in Safe Mode [Tap F8 while booting] and set the Display to 640x480 in the Display Control Panel.

If you cant go that low in the Display Control Panel use the QuickRes Utility (Puts a Galaga icon in the Notification Area/System Tray):

I use the one posted by  SailorSat here:
http://files.arianchen.de/soft15khz/quickres.zip

This one has the press Escape key to cancel the selected resolution change feature. Helps when you select an un-displayable resolution.

Put a shortcut to QuckRes in your startup folder and you would be able to use it  fix that screen as it is.
