Anyone have a chance to check it out yet?

If you can find a better solitaire game we'll give you your money back. Oh hang on it's free, okay nevermind lol. Still we played all the best solitaire games on the App Store we could find and we really believe we've done a better job than all of them. Our goal is to be the only solitaire game you'll ever need on your iOS device. We honestly believe we've achieved that.

I would be glad to try it, but it's for IOS.

Except for my mom's iphone, I think not just me, but my entire extended family is android-only at this point.

Apple products are kind of expensive for what they are.

It looks like it would be fun... for solitare...whatever that means.  ;)

Solitaire is the most played game of all time, so while it may not be an exciting new or original game per se, we've been hard at work making the best solitaire game we could make. I've always had a solitaire game on my portable devices but none of the ones I could find were particularly that good. That's why I made my own :)

As for supporting Android.. we get alot of that. Unfortuantely Android uses Java which is a bit annoying for someone who codes in C++. Still I've heard it can support C++ but you still need to write a bunch of boilerplate Java code to interface with the C++ routines. Pretty much the same with iOS though (although in that case it's Objective C). So it may be on the cards ;)

I know I'm not one to talk as I haven't released a full app for either OS yet, but from the little bit of dabbling I've done, Android seemed easier to me.

I'm not quite sure how to put it, but despite it's java base it seemed more "windowsy" to me in regards to being able to call existing apis and not having to do everything from scratch.  Of course I suppose with a game that wouldn't matter all that much... you'd have to do most things from scratch anyway.

Android is harder to develop for because of its diversity of hardware. With iOS you only need to test on an iPhone 3G or iTouch 4G to check for performance issues. From that we know our game runs great on all iOS devices.

Another point is we used Cocoa for our interface this time around because Solitaire needs lots of controls, lists and icons. To do all that in OpenGL alone is a bit daunting. So the down side of that is if you go to port from iOS to Android you have to remake all the interfaces. The same goes when porting from iOS to OSX or Windows.

You have said the game could port to OSX, since its should been very much same codebase? If its nicely can support iPad Retina (as its does in my iPad), then its should could port straight to MacOS without modificed the interface at all... I dont think its required at all, but its depend Cocoa is supported for MacOS....

For Windows its a another story.

There is 83 games. Klondike, freecell and spider is completly free. Rest cost money by game packs. Those 3 names is the most popular games anyway.

This game is based on a freemium model and is nothing wrong using that model.

I also criticed that too, but it got corrected on the homepage.

Howover I did beta tested it in some weeks, but it's all I did this time (I was in the team for jungool music). I did found some important bugs :-). I haven't reviewed it, but it's turned to a great game.

Good luck from here and hope its earn more money :-).

I have a windows phone 8 and my girlfriend has a Note 2, so we can't test it out. I would like a really good solitaire program though.

I think 2 of my co workers are still stuck with their iPhone; I will ask them if they want to try it.
