Layout appears correct, then stretches...............SOLVED

I've done 100 layouts (if not more) and never had this problem.
I recently completed a PAC MAN/GALAGA layout for a customer with a resolution of 1200 x 1600.
When he starts up MALA the layout displays correct then stretches cutting off the bottom.

I have no idea why it's doing this, or how to fix it.

Can anyone offer any suggestions  ?

Hi all

I'm the customer in question.  Just one point of clarification -- when I switch to Boss's layout it properly displays for an instant and then stretches.  After the image is stretched I can exit and start Mala and the stretched image is displayed at all times.

We have been both trying to figure out what the issue is, and we are both starting to think that this is happening as a result of some setting in my Mala install (that I am not aware of or don't recall doing).

Couple other points:  mala was working fine up to this point, the display in windows is set to 1600x1200 portrait (native for the display), and I had to choose "switch rotation" in mala to get his vertical layout to show.

Any help would be appreciated.  I need to step out for awhile but later today I am going to try this on a fresh install of mala to see what happens.

One last point:  boss's work on this has been stellar.

I've created a layout for the specific reason of testing.
I also tested it on my system.
I run @ 900x 1440. You can see from this image which was made @ 1200x1600 that it cuts off slightly after the 1400 mark.
I don't believe this issue to be an issue with the layout I created, in 100 or so layouts I've made I've never had an issue.
Perhaps something simply is overlooked ?

I've included this very basic layout @ 1200 x 1600 vertical should anyone wish to try it .

This was my fault, %100 I goofed.
I created the background image and load screen image @ 1200 x 1600.
However when creating the layout in MaLa I told MaLa it was 1200 x 1900.
Mala stretched the image to fit, I had no idea MaLa would do that.
None the less layout has been redone, issue solved, and I'm glad I figured it out.
