"New" Dragon's Lair CD-Rom
« on: April 05, 2002, 07:44:27 am »
Has anyone tried the "New" (released September 2001) supposedly arcade authentic Dragon's Lair CD-Rom from Digital Leisure?  http://www.digitalleisure.com/pr010926.html

I have the old one that had DL, DL2, and Space Ace on it, and as many of you know, that one sucked because you couldn't play it full screen (if you did, the resolution was not high enough so it sucked).  :P

How does the new one compare to the DVD version that has been out for awhile?

I hear its the best CD version yet.  And even better software then the DVD version.

but the DVD version has all the scenes perfect and the CD doesnt (but closer then older cds)

and the DVD software sucks... so improving on it doesn't mean much

so get the DVD rom version and Daphne.  Best all around solution
