DDR Pad dimensions?
« on: November 10, 2003, 11:36:13 pm »
Anyone have another link to a site with the pad dimensions for a DDR setup?  The ddrhomepad page used to have a link to The Melting Pot, but that link has been broken for some time.  I've got an idea to make a portable hard pad, but I need actual dimensions for accuracy's sake.

While we're at it, anyone have the dimensions for Pump It Up?  That would make for a heckuva Stepmania machine, with swappable pads for DDR and PIU.

each square is 11".  So 33"x33"

Should be same size for both pump and ddr.
BTW, ddrhomepad has the dimensions.  I hate how he organized his site.  You have to click on every pic.

What I'm really looking for is the dimensions of the outside edges (borders) and the distance between the two pads for doubles.  DDrhomepad has a link to the melting pot for these full dimensions, and, well, that site is no longer.

Pump it up has different dimensions, the corner pads overlap the center pad by a bit (If it were a number pad, the "4" and "6" positions are smaller than the others).  I may take a tape measure up to Dave and Busters to measure their PIU.
