Williams Cocktail

Has anyone made a replica Williams cocktail (Robotron/Defender/Joust)?

That would be a nice project, don't think I have seen anyone make one from scratch.

DPTWIZ on the KLOV forums makes CNC cabs and mentioned that even with his equipment Joust was a pain to make and he really didn't want to make another.

Jakobud has plans for a Robotron cocktail.  I haven't looked at them so I have no idea how accurate they are:

I have a real one. It was originally a Defender cocktail, somewhere in it's life it was converted to Moon Patrol. Let me know if you want any measurements.

I was in Mongo (klov forums) garage a couple months ago and I am fairly sure I spied an unassembled CNC williams cocktail sitting in a corner, although that is probably the same one DPTWIZ didn't want to make any more of because he had a few other unassembled DPTWIZ cabinets in there as well.

Thanks for the links and info. Don't worry about the measurements DrumAnBass, but thanks for the offer. I have the plans for the Robotron one from Jackbuds site...it looks as though the Defender one is very similar except the shape of the woodgrain part either side of the glass.

Not sure I want to start another project at the moment but maybe in the future...
