Driver on black n white crt tube
« on: April 13, 2013, 05:51:29 am »
Im trying to connect a driver circuitry from a color crt TV to a black n white crt tube,I guess (R,G,B) goes to the blue electron gun,and somebody told me that color tvs use much higher voltage acceleration but can I wire up like a light bulb to it so it would do harm do the black n white crt tube?(I mean it would lower the voltage right or maybe some ressistors) ?

Is it true or it would affect the performance of the black n white TV if some voltages are a bit higher, because I always
thought that older televisions have higher voltages then newer. The original color tube was the same size then the b & w tube is.

The color TV neck board has 8pins,the b & w tube only 7 pins. Can somebody tell me which are the grids and filaments in the neck board ?

Help would be welcomed !
