Jukebox help, some questions and it crashes
« on: March 25, 2013, 04:14:57 pm »
Hello,
I've got the jukebox enabled and it's working. I'm running the 'explorer' like view with a simple list down the side and the album/title across the top. Just a few questions:

1. Randomly (probably half the time) when I select to play a song it doesn't play and while I can move up/down with the cursors I can't change to another emulator, not even by right-clicking and selecting to change emulator. i.e. the jukebox has completely broken mala. I have to reboot to fix it. There is a AUDIODB.EXE running I noticed on exit but closing this still did nothing and it might just be a red-herring. I'm running windows 7. Even disabling audio and going back into mala refuses to let me change emulator.

Assuming I can get past this stage:
2. I've got a cover.jpg file in every folder and in the settings under 'cover filename' I've simply got 'cover' as it says to not include extension. How do I make it visible? In the layout editor I've added snap/title thinking it was that but it's not and the 'manual' says nothing.

3. Every single song in the list has the entry 'band - song title'. This might be ok for the flat view but with the explorer view it's a bit daft. I know what the band is. Is there a way to customise this list to display what I want, e.g. 'song title' or maybe even if I changed to flat view 'band - album - song title'?

4. Can you set up gamelists like you can with emulators so I can press left/right to show my playlist selection of songs for playback rather than the option of seeing just all songs in a folder and either playing one or all of them?

Thanks.
