My cart software automatically assigns complete when an order is placed. Still trying to figure out how to change it.

All orders are cut to order, current turnaround time is 3-4 weeks.

If your order is the one I think it is (has all the accessories), it will be going out this week.

Thank you. I'm pretty excited Haruman. I've heard you have a pretty good reputation when it comes to design. I suspect that everything will come together smoothly. All I have to figure out is the best type of monitor that'll fit inside, something that'll power on when I power the computer on, and then figure out the artwork.

Did you have any designers that can make the vinyls for the side and controller and marquee for this model? From what I understand, this is your newest one. I apologize in advance if this question was answered already the forums.

Its not official, but Ive been known to make art packages for haruman's kits.  If your interested, shoot me a PM with what kinda art you want. I recently designed an Ultra SF4 theme and had it designed, printed, and shipped the art for $165

That looks amazing!  Pretty high price, but I'm assuming you're using quality materials.  I bought the ultimate widescreen, and that one you're showing is just the widescreen.  Any mock designs for that one?  I wouldn't mind using this thread to showcase his designs.  Actually, it might inspire others to purchase his work.

Yes, it definitely looks amazing. I can't wait until I get it. On a side note, how is everyone attaching the control and back panel? Is it best to use Industrial Strength Velcro Strips? Or is it better to use a hinge for securing the back panel.

So, with some constructive criticism from Malenko (who assembled a couple of the first versions for me), I have redesigned the basic fightstick.

Top no longer is encased by the sides:

Top is also now 3/4" thick for more color choices with T-molding:

Moved the button & Neutrik hole on the back to get them out of the way of the two rear buttons on the top panel.

Currently the plan is to make the sides & bottom out of 1/2", but may change that over to 3/4" to match the top...

Do you have pricing yet?  and when will be able to order?

I ended up going another route on my stick after getting the first design (I think I was the one to first hit you up about making them)...but after spending a year here and another year over at the other site, now collecting dedicated machines...I feel like I would prefer to build something around a Wico leaf or GGG new leaf stick instead of the JLW I have right now.  My current housing is not deep enough.  Do we know how much clearance you'll have for stick depth on this design?

I use a hinge and velcro for the back, velcro for the control panel.

Pricing I'm still working out.  I need to get my dry fit to check everything, then they will be ready for sale.

Top is sloped, but at the midpoint of the CP, the depth is about 2.8".  There is also a recess cut for the joystick (0.375" deep) , so that gives more room.

Just finished my first cab and I have to say it was so easy to complete and install everything.  It looks so nice I had to order two more because my sister and brother in law now wants one.  I can't say how impressed I have been with the craftsmanship, quality, and communication so far.  I will be a customer from now on.

Thanks
Greg

typically its 85 for design(well 85 if I make the design and you make it available to everyone, $100 if its "exclusive") and 80 to print and ship. Most designs take about 6 hours, so thats $14 an hour if it only takes 6 hours and I actually get paid. If you add up all the times I finished art and didnt get paid Im at about $3 an hour.

I dont believe I designed any full size side art for an ultimate wide screen, but I did do a marquee and CPO:

Haruman made his own SF2CE side art stickers.

Because if you did, the profile on the side would have to look like this:

:D

But yeah, I can't recommend the Mighty Malenko's art enough. (And if you received art from Malenko and didn't at least offer him a stipend, shame on you.)

Haruman,

Have you thought about having a display at Zapcon this year with a few different options for people to see?  I have been in pinball the last 3 years but just starting to research building a cab for myself so am a total noob.  I would love to be able to try out some of your more popular cabs to see what feels best to me before I commit to one.

I did Zapcon last year, had four different completed kits out.

I plan on attending this year, just not as a vendor.  I need a break, it's been super busy here, my wife's been recovering from surgery since Jan 7th, and I've had no time to get ready.

Next year, tho...  I plan on having a really good booth set up, with some bartops and perhaps one of my full size cabs as well.

DOH!  I wasn't interested in building my own cab then so didn't pay much attention...I just got bit by the bug and have made it about halfway through this thread so far.  Hopefully I can make a decision on which cab to go with after I finish it up.  The amount of support and customization you provide is top notch and the community is lucky to have you in it.  I may PM you if I have any questions so thanks in advance!

Yup, was over with the other vendors by the wall:

Just let me know if you have any questions.

So far the best seller is the Ultimate Widescreen, followed by the regular Widescreen.  Nintendo is in 3rd, followed by the Vertical.

Working on finishing up my widescreen build... T-Molding is on a truck for delivery today. Have new wiring harness ordered for a rewire on the control panel.

I am just finishing up artwork... I found two side templates on the forum but could not find ones for the control and admin panels...

Are there templates available for them?

Kit received!!!

I'm interested in putting it all together.  Here's the question that's probably asked over and over again, please don't flame me for it.  But where is the best place to get the correct buttons for this ultimate widescreen bar kit?  I understand it uses standard HAPP buttons and it's dimensions are listed on the top page.  But does anyone have any favorite vendors that they like to use to provide the buttons?

Also...not sure if it's mentioned but the smaller 3 button holes that go across the top on this ultimate widescreen, what size buttons fit there nicely?  I'm thinking of making those a "Coin-in", "Start Button", and Exit Buttons.

Thanks!

The ultimate widescreen needs Sanwa controls, 2 Sanwa JLF joysticks, 16 of the 30mm Sanwa screw in buttons, and 6 of the 24mm Sanwa screw in buttons.

I'd be willing to take a stab at it. Just a warning, that thickness of acrylic or plexi isn't exactly cheap...

Neither is that food processor!
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

Hi, unsure on how to PM you directly.
I may be able to get 1/8" or 1/4" of 4ft x 8ft sheet for good price. Was trying to build this on most minimal budget...
Can you please let me know what we can do ?
Thanks !

Pushing a lot of orders out this weekend, will probably be shipping 8 boxes out on Monday.

In honor of the 3rd annual Zapcon convention, I'll be running a promotion until April 20th.  10% off your entire cart.  Coupon code is ZAPCON2015

Look for me at Zapcon, I won't be a vendor this year, but I'll be there wearing a BYOAC (or a HarumanCustoms) shirt.

Prototype Neo Geo big red will be in next week, look for pics in this thread.  Will be adding some new stuff to the store soon too.   :applaud:

I have been working on my artwork. It is Mortal Kombat 9 inspired. I think the CPO needs some work it may bee too busy.
