Arcade Depot reopening?
« on: November 20, 2012, 07:42:53 pm »
I recently placed what I hoped would be a Christmas gift for my husband for an arcade kit from Arcade Depot.  In response, I got an email about the damage due to Hurricane Sandy closing the NJ location for now.  However, the money was already taken from my PayPal account.  I was wondering if anybody either knows when their location might be reopened or if anybody has any contact information where I might be able to find out?
Thanks!

Only thing I've seen is their webpage http://arcadedepot.com/ that currently reads:
Quote

Dear Valued Customers,
Due to severe damage caused by Hurricane Sandy the ArcadeDepot facility, located in New Jersey, is currently inoperable. We will be diligently working to bring the facility back to an operational condition as quickly as possible once electricity has been restored and the statewide gas shortage resolved. In the meantime please rest assured that anything and everything we can do to return to work is being done. We apologize for our inability to serve you at this time.

You might be able to contact someone at Gremlin Solutions via the link at the top of the page.   :dunno

Thanks.  I tried sending an email but I haven't gotten a response as of yet.   :-\

You might want to consider filing a complaint with PayPal to get a refund. I know that the initial circumstances are beyond their control, but you need to protect your money.

Just FYI, he hasn't dealt with Gremlin in quite a few years, according to them (I emailed).

Hoping he will re-open soon!
