new rule for the BST section again
« on: November 17, 2012, 07:16:38 pm »
seriously.
If you arent selling it you shouldnt be posting it. There have been about 5 in the last week. While I appreciate people assuming I, and others, dont know how use the search on ebay and craigslist, I dont really understand how polluting the BST section with stuff you arent actually selling is helpful.

If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

My Klipsch forum implemented an "Alerts!" sub-forum in the BST section for people to post that kind of stuff. Helps keep down on the clutter while adding the benefit of alerting people to good deals found while browsing around the vast interwebs.

I have to say I don't always see every cool deal that comes up on eBay, even though I do know how to use it quite well.  Obviously if I'm actively looking for something I know how to find it, but it's the stuff I didn't know I wanted that is often the coolest. ;)  I'd be in favor of an "alerts" section as suggested by Thaddeus.
