New Cab Build Finished
« on: December 05, 2016, 03:49:34 pm »
Hey Gents,

Long time reader.. First time poster.

Attached is my Arcade Cab. Running Hyperspin and an assortment of Emu off my PC. Been working on it for the past couple of months in my tiny Condo...Lol..Wife hates me.

I will include more pics of my build in the next coming days as well as outlining some details.

Hope you all like.

P.S I got the idea for the general shape of this arcade from Mystery_Smelly_Feet over at Reddit. But I didn't use his dimensions or templates. Simply the shape of the CAB. credits go out to him.

Mo

Super slick! Looks comfortable. I'm a fan of upright, classic style cabs but my next cab will be something along these lines. Something to sit down, get comfy and play some games with.

I'd ditch the sega genesis logo.  Sega made plenty of arcade cabs.
A play on the Sega Astro City logo would work for the style.

The genesis logo also makes the button labeling bother me since xyz isn't above abc.

That was my thoughts also.
Also confused by the 8 button layout association :p
