Personnally i like the japanease sit down, or pony cabs. They are easy to find for the most part, and are jamma cabs that never came with a game so no "classic" to kill. And the model i picked up has a 29" monitor, four stereo speakers, rotatable monitor, degauss button, ect, ect. And i got it all for less than the cost of a 27" WG monitor. Heres a picture of the one i got.

Not everyones style but it works for the games i enjoy the most :)

Well, I think the best cab would be Asteroids.  For one, I think the shape is the quintessential late 70's early 80's arcade game.  and second, the control panel real estate is huge!

I picked up a cab two years ago that originally was an Asteroids about three conversions ago, some remodeling later, and now I have a Vector/pinball/Dragon's Lair Machine that works very well.

Occasionally the angle on the control panel wears at my wrists, but fortunately, a lot of the vectors use a similar 5 button control panel, so it doesn't get too bad. :)

All vector cabinets are generally good choices. Simply not enough working monitors left to go around (not to mention the fact that the popular vector games had HUGE production runs).

Although, given a choice (like if you are at a warehouse, and can pick your game), pick a color vector over a black & white one. The color monitors are much more scarce and a lot less reliable.
