UME (universal machine emulator) and Hyperspin

Does anyone have UME launching a2600 or a5200 carts from within hyperspin?  I tried renaming the ume.exe binary to mess.exe and ume.ini to mess.ini with no luck.  I've also tried with both hyperlaunch enabled and disabled.  Any help would be appreciated.
