wells k7000 random horizontal issues
« on: October 26, 2012, 05:38:30 pm »
ok i have 3 seperate 7000 chassis that all seem to have a problem with the horizontal hold or with just at the top of the screen. on 2 of them there seems to be an issue at the top inch or 2 down from the top. it seems to tear to the right and i can almost get it perfect with the horizontal hold but when i get it close it either jumps and goes out or just keeps jumping. the hots have been changed in all of these chassis's and it seems all but 1 i have done a cap kit for. all the b+ pots are all glued so they havent been adjusted. the other one i cant seem to keep the horizontal hold just right. i can trim it in good but it never gets straight. just enough to see a pic but not good enough to play on. i can post pics if needed.

what game are you running.

if it is a jamma only use pin 10 on the input header.

also reflow all the input header pins.

that is a common problem if pins 9-10 are combined or if just pin 9 is used.
