I want to build my own arcade controls!
Graphics problem with Mame and Mala

I'm using command-line mame with Mala and Windows XP pro. Everything works pretty good, but I'm having trouble running any of the Mortal Kombat games. Which kinda sucks, because I'd like to play Mortal Kombat
Whenever I run it, the graphics are all messed up. I've linked a couple of pictures below. If I run Mortal Kombat with Mame directly (no Mala), it works fine, looks great. So, it must be something with the way that Mala is set up. I'm using a nvidia geforce 6200 256mb graphics card that I just purchased (I thought that it might be a problem with the graphics card), but I get the same results with or without the graphics card. Spent a lot of time getting Mala set up the way I wanted it so, if it's a simple fix, I was hoping not to have to look at other frontends. Appreciate any help you can offer

Using MAME v.147?
There was a known bug in that build with the MK games.
(I'm not sure if what you are experiencing is it)
Update to v.148 or revert to something older.
It shouldn't be running correctly outside of Mala though.

whoops, my bad. I had it working on Mame32, but not on command-line Mame. I upgraded to 148, and now working fine. Thanks!! Simple fix
By the way, sorry this topic had already been covered. I was searching "graphics" and "mame" and "mala". When I searched "kombat" and "147", I saw a couple threads on this, and a few that you had already responded to yourself. Thanks again for your help! - s
