Arcade parts for Kiwis
« on: September 26, 2003, 03:30:48 am »
I'm just about to put an auction on www.trademe.co.nz for the following...

2XMCA 8 way joysticks one red one blue with restrictor to convert one joystick to 4 way or 2 way. Microswitches included. I have 2 lots of this i.e. I have 4 MCA joysticks ( if anyone buys all 4 I will throw an extra blue joystick in for free ). These are in good condition and are the standard joystick in most arcade parlours in NZ these days. CoinCascade sell these joysticks for $31.90 each with micros ( rip off ---daisies---, lol )

2XRed ball top 8 ways with microswitches made by Asahi Seiko. These are top quality ball top joys and have a really nice retro look. They can be converted to 4 way by unscrewing the built in restrictor plate and turning it 45 degrees ( you will need to drill a couple of screw holes to do this but you will end up with an excellent 4 way with red ball top ). I have 2 lots of this i.e I have 4 of these joysticks for sale.

25 mixed vertical and horizontal arcade pushbuttons without microswitches. 6 red, 17 blue and 2 green.

12 leaf switch buttons 4 yellow and 8 red that are mounted to use microswitches with activators. These come with the mounts and microswitches.

I will auction  them in a couple of days but I wanted to give you guys first shot at them. I am willing to trade ( I need an ArcadeVGA card a video amp and a PC to run my MAME machine ( all 3 would be excellent thanks, lol  ;) ) or just make an offer. I live in Hamilton so you can pick them up or I will courier for a small fee ( usually about $5 ).

Cheers

Hi Apollo,

I'm in Hamilton too. And as luck would have it I'm just about ready to start building a CP. I don't have anything to trade, but if you are interested in just selling them let me know roughly how much you are after. You can email me a dmccoy50@coldmail.com (change cold to hot - I hate spam).
Never get into fights with ugly people - they have nothing to lose.

Thanks for looking everyone. Thanks to Bomber who took 2 excellent red ball tops and some buttons from me ( first MAMEerI have come across that lives in the same town as me which was kinda cool ).
The other items are now being auctioned on www.trademe.co.nz if anyone else is interested.
