MAME v.146 rocks!  (mostly because of the PGM games added)
I'm using it in the new cab and updating my old setup.
Will probably stick with it for a while.

My old setup already has all arcade games in my main list using SGT's workaround, so I'm familiar with it.
This time around though, instead of adding a few games at a time,
I'm adding every game that isn't playable in MAME, but is supported in another emulator, regardless of whether it's playable in the other emulator yet.

I'm currently making good use of my time being tied to a desk at work to modify mame.xml
I've turned off wordwrap, but it still sits there for a minute or two after I paste in:
<driver status="good" emulation="good" color="good" sound="good" graphic="good"

Man is it taking a long time.
I've already done model 2, model 3, & atomiswave.

Before I start the massive NAOMI list, is there a better/faster way?

(I will upload this somewhere when finished to save others the trouble)

EDIT: I've realized that this isn't necessary if you don't filter out non-working games.  Oh well, halfway through it now.
Might even search and destroy entries including the terms mahjong and mechanical.
Should have done that first though, as it would have made the file smaller and faster to work with.

XSLT is the way to go for XML modification/transformation.
I use http://www.oxygenxml.com  (can download free trial).
