i found this layout on an old mamecomp , running mala 1.04 and mame 0.106 . its scalable 800x600 and i like it to run in 640x480 vertical mode. in mala 1.04 it works perfect , but in mala 1.74 i cant get it to switch to vertical orientation . it always displays horizontal . any hints what i could have missed ? i copied it all into the .0174 folder , tried the layout editor with load and save .. i can switch and flip the screen within mala , but it wont pick the vertical picture.
