Ultimarc USB Spinner not working in MALA or MAME
« on: January 26, 2012, 09:46:41 pm »
Hi All,

I am having trouble getting my Ultimarc USB Spinner working in MALA or MAME. I am using the latest version of each. The Spinner is working in WinXP and I have edited the Mame.ini file to mouse 1 and multimouse 1 but still no joy. Can anyone help? The ini file seems to have fixed everyone elses problem but no joy for myself.

Thanks for any help.

Evan

Maybe go into the mame config menus and click use mouse box?

If you set multimouse back to 0, do BOTH mice work in Mame?

Ie when multimouse is 0 all attached mice should do the same thing in mame.

When it's 1, Mame can "see" each mouse independently, so you'll need to update your control configuration as applicable.

And finally, if you disconnect and reconnect devices often, the mice can "change position" on mame, invalidating your config. You can check out the link in my sig for my "controllerRemap" utility for more on that.
