Well, I don't quite see how Batman using Bat in his name is any different than Captain America using America in his name. Given that Cap was a US Army experiment who was utilized specifically by the gov't, his name makes far more sense than Batman. Batman pretty much picked it out because he personally wanted to push the bat image on the city. I guess as you would say, batman was deliberately advertising the bat, while the Captain had his name picked out for him. |
