PC Light Gun
« on: September 26, 2003, 02:42:08 pm »
Hi

I am in the UK and wondered if anyone new where I can get the Act labs light gun or, something similar that will work for MAME?  I was wondering if anyone had tried a PS2 light gun on a usb adapter ?

Wow... I've never seen one of those... is that a brand name or something ;)

& No you cannot use a PS2 gun on the PC....
There are only 2 guns confirmed to work that I've heard mention of here in the forums... The Act-Labs gun & another one who's name escapes me at the moment... (black, looks more like a real gun).
It was here, bu I can't bring up the site right now... (http://www.whitedog.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=10&products_id=77)

There you go... That's the info I know...

<edit>
I learnt how to spell me some words... LOL...

God I wish I could type "standard"
Can you get the actlabs one anywhere online? I am not sure about the other one from whitedog as it only works at 640x 480 resulution, so was not sure how that would work with the mame games anyone know?

Yes it's the virtual gun & a few people here have mentioned it working. Just do a few searches (use the advanced search & set the # of days to 365...)
