Now is your chance to own a part of HyperSpin history.
Dazz's MAMEcab - This cabinet was one of the very first cabinets to ever have HyperSpin installed. I used this cabinet when testing early alpha/beta versions of HyperSpin, even before BBB had a cab to install on. I know it's not really "history", but perhaps it will help sell so I can start new build.
This cabinet is EXCELLENT for anyone that's looking to get a head start in this crazy hobby. It has served me very well over the years and I'll be sad to see it go. Unfortunately, it has to go as I need the room and want to build a new cabinet.
This cabinet was scratch built 7 years ago using 3/4" MDF from the Ultimate Arcade II plans from Mameroom.com. Cabinet was built to house 27" CRT TV, but has been slightly modified to hold 24" widescreen LCD. This modification would be easy to remove. This cabinet was also built to be a little mobile and breaks down into 3 easier to manage pieces. The top is secured using bolts and fly nuts, the control panel is clamped down using control panel clamps. All can be removed for easier transport. Cabinet was originally black, but was sanded and re-painted a blue/grey and resembles Dallas Cowboys colors. This was not done intentionally. The cabinet currently has NO artwork, but put a Dallas Cowboy's star on it and you immediately have a Cowboy's themed cabinet.
* Cabinet Only
* Empty 4 player control panel - No artwork, but has plexi cover.
* Game Not Over Marquee, plexi and marquee retainer hardware
* No hardware or software is included.
* Smoked glass monitor/bezel cover
* Speakers and speaker covers
I will help the new owner with setup and software installation. I will also include training the new owner with setup of HyperSpin, MAME and other emulators.
I also have working Atari Roadblasters and Gorf/Time Pilot machines. Both cabinets are in fairly good condition.
* Time Pilot (Gorf cabinet) * -
Click here for picturesCould use a new joystick, but the current one works. Monitor fades to white after a while, but cap kit should correct it. Side artwork from Gorf is intact and great shape. All hardware included.
* Atari Roadblasters * -
Click here for picturesCabinet currently has front missing. Pedal was broken off during transport and I pulled the whole front off to restore, but I haven't had a chance yet to fix. Monitor has a little burn in from it's previous Galaga life and takes a couple minutes to warm up. I believe a cap kit will also correct this small issue.
