Control Panel idea
« on: September 14, 2003, 04:17:49 pm »
Has anyone made a control panel, completly see through? I was thinking that would be cool. I could put lights and stuff inside or glowire. It would be cool to be able to see all the wires and stuff.
I was just wondering if anyone knew what the thickest lexan/plexiglass etc, they make. Would this be possible? Opinions please.

I played that machine.  It was here in St. Louis at the old Coin Op museum.  My band (when I was young) used to play down there all the time.  We'd load up our gear into the club and then go down to the place and play arcade games til it was time for us to go on.  I thought it was SUPER cool.  Especially since I loved the Dan Armstrong Guitar (it's made of clear lusite) and Ms. Pac is my favorite game.  ;)

the only thing I'd be a little worried about is the ammount of static electricity that seems to go with Plexi.  Could that affect the electronics?
They have the FAST Ms. Pac-Man!  MOM!  Can I have a quarter!??
