ever use a QUASICADE?/QUASIMOTO arcade with MAME?

hey everyone, im setting up a quasicade? or quasimoto control panel for a friend of mine. im doing some research on it right now and i was wondering if anyone has used a quasicade/quasimoto control panel with MAME. here are some links if you dont know what it is. arcade cabs come with a controller called a quasicade, to me it looks very similar to how the xarcade and compatible products work except these are more console friendly.

I don't think they are hard to set up, the issue with them is that they are really expensive and kind of akward to use.
