Mr. + Mrs. Pac Man 30th Anniversary Artwork
« on: July 03, 2011, 08:32:35 pm »
Just wanted to post the artwork I made for my Mr./Mrs Pac Man anniversary cab (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=110635.0). A big thanks to all those who helped with the design and gave feedback. Attached are the Illustrator .ai files for the side art (2), Marquee, and CPO. Corrections or questions please let me know. If any part or whole of the design proves useful for one of your projects, please use it and improve it!

I hope to update this post when I get the art printed. Here's hoping I measured correctly!  ;D
Completed projects: Pac bartop (Plug & Play), 30th Anniversary Pac cab (MAME), Point Blank (PS1), Centipede (arcade hardware- light restore), VS. Super Mario Bros (arcade hardware- light restore) Tetris Cocktail (SNES), Arcade Classics upright (60-in-1, then MAME), Multi-Raiden (arcade hardware). Pac Man vs.(Gamecube),

Working on: Pinball Re-theme, Homebrew arcade arena shooter

Reserved for when I post the Mala Layout. :P

5/6/13: Ok, here we go...

Attached to this post are the photoshop file for the MALA background and the final .jpg of the background and loading screen. Also the 4 images that I used in sequence for a screensaver. All in 640x480, and that is the size I made them in so don't have anything bigger.

Font used in these designs was the excellent Emulator: http://www.dafont.com/emulator-jaynz.font

Let me know if I should post anything else!

What's the rush? Its only been 3 years!  ;D OK I will see if I can post the relevant files later today.

Also, if you are editing the files at all, I think the blue ghost on the sideart printed darker than expected, so you may want to lighten that quite a bit.

OK, posted the Layout art. Also attached a zip that might be useful. If I am doing this the wrong way let me know... I made the layout a long time ago and not sure of the best way to transmit it.

This looks great!

I'd enjoy seeing a mockup to understand how large the side art is in relation to the profile of the cab.

I attached a current image. It is about 18"x25" as I have it printed, or about the size of the kit/conversion side art you see sometimes. It leaves about 3 inches on either side on the upper part of the Ms. Pac cab.

This looks great!
