First Juke - CD-100 converted to SKJuke

<< < (3/5) > >>

Meph:
35"x17".  I looked at all different sizes.  I didn't want it to be overbearing.  I think the 22" has a good balance of space.  If I went too big it would fill the whole vertical space but I would still have to fill the horizontal space.  The way it is now I will have a somewhat balanced bezel all around the monitor.

mgb:
Very nice work.

Meph:
I cut the bezel tonight from that 1/8" oak plywood.  I need to build a small frame behind it so it doesn't warp and so it will maintain a little pressure against the light shroud so its not leaking light around the edges.  I haven't actually mounted it yet, this is just a shot of it with tape holding it in place.  Now I need to decide what to face it with.  I was thinking black laminate originally but now im not sure.  I could go with a graphic or even an off white to match the light shroud.  Any suggestions?

Meph:
Here are a couple samples I came up with quick.

Meph:
I made some cuts on the board for the keypad tonight and wired it up with a common ground.  My ipac arrived today so I will get that wired up tomorrow and then i'll finally have the control scheme worked out.  Im thinking of wiring the popular button as an alt key so I can double my available keys.  Will have to play with it and see what I need.
