If you decide not to do this project, I want the TV.   ;)

I went to Goodwill yesterday and found 3 5" TV's, all B/W, boo

Sounds like a tiny asteroids in your future!

Did those small TV's accept any input or were they antenna only?

One of them accepted AV inputs

HERE'S THE NEW PROJECT

I decided to go with a PS1 LCD screen because they're small and have AV input so are pretty much ready to go.  After a few weeks of keeping my eyes out on ebay and craigslist I scored a PS1 with screen, controller and Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2 or 3 or something for $20 from a chick about a half hour from here that she'd listed on CL.  I've had it a couple weeks now disassembled waiting until I had some free time and now I finally do.  Also for a few weeks I've had a piece of MDF cut out as a "monitor panel" that fits the LCD and will serve as the bezel as well since I've chamfered it around the opening.

Today I really got into it drawing up my design in SolidWorks.  The design is pretty much the top half of a Pac-Man shrunken down to fit the size of the monitor.  The profile was drawn in just a few minutes with only a picture of the side of a cab as reference.  In other words, it's not accurate at all but it looks the part.  I've decided to have two doors on the cab for access to the CP through one and the monitor/speakers/marquee lighting/brains through the other, those are the areas where there is no dado/groove to accept the cross panels.

I've got to say this is the most excited I've been yet to own a CNC machine...  Design in the morning, have parts ready by the evening!  Here's the right cab side:

Question: How do I emulate the look of T-Molding on 1/2" MDF with router bits?

I guess I pretty much want to "bull-nose" the edge of the MDF but I've never done that before so any guidance would be great.  I imagine I'd have to use a round over bit but what size and where to ride the bearing I'm a little confused on.
