It will be a feature of HS 2.0, but I don't know when that will be out. You can do it in MAME, but it requires editing all of the .lay files. I haven't figured out how to get them to display right though. The marquee looks like it is centered on a 4:3 screen, so I see about half of the marquee at the bottom.

could the default marquee be animated? a gif?

man that's tempting.  can't see myself doing a 29" wide cab anytime soon.  sweet price though.

I love the device, but it'd look like a tumor on top of my cab.

If it were 16:3 I'd jump on it.  When a company starts selling 16:3 monitors in various sizes at under $200 a piece, we'll all have active marquees I bet.  Too bad those Litemaxs will never go on sale like these 29" did.

Looks like word got around to the arcade community pretty quick.....they are sold out from both Amazon and EBay.  At least the $160 ones.

No mention if the seller will get more.

Too bad....I was ready to pull the trigger for $160.  Pretty much had the wife sold on it at that price.

How difficult is it to get Hyperspin to output to this as a 2nd monitor with this weird resolution? Can I just use the marquees as they are?

No idea.  I just reposted MacGyver's link from earlier in this thread (06 Apr 2011) -- don't have Hyperspin, don't have the monitor.
