Black Screenshots
« on: March 03, 2011, 01:15:03 am »
Everytime I take a screenshot ingame it's just comes up black when I exit back into MA. I have downloaded most of my snaps from emu movies but I just want to make some of my own.
Any Ideas of what I am doing wrong ???

Try to turn of any graphics card processing or use in-emulator screenshot function. Most hardware graphics are not captured by the OS snapshot function.

Thx for reply guys
I am using the MA screen capture function to take the snaps.
Also I am just using a LCD plug straight into my computer so no s-video.

I tried setting a different key and made sure the snaps were in the right folders but no success.
Just coming up black all the time??  :banghead:

Try to turn of any graphics card processing

Not sure what you mean by this.
My graphics card is a 8800gts gigabyte

Had a similar problem with black screens.   Had to use a work around.

I found another emulator that puts black screens in my snap folder.  Visual Boy Advance.   Leads me to believe that my problem is specific to certain emulators but not sure why.

Bob are you using Windows 7
The reason I ask is when I was using vista I didn't have a problem. Now I am using Windows 7 I can only take Black screenshots.
I don't think its the reason but I am trying to rule it out
