Tube swap question
« on: April 26, 2011, 01:08:44 pm »
I have a Wells Gardner 27D9200 with broken pins on  the  tube. I have 3 or 4 tubes that were used with Wells U5000. Are these tubes compatible to swap?

Thanks

the main problem is the yoke, the 9200 is designed to run the yoke at higher frequencies that the 5000 yoke isn't designed to.

post up the tube numbers of both the tubes, perhaps (if you can swap the yoke over and it isn't epoxied on...) it may be a candidate for swap.
