PC Batch help needed

I followed D's steps http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=104725.0 but still having issues.  In MA, I select the game, and it loads, but when I hit the HOME button, which is my exit back to MA, it doesn't work.  I have to hit F1, Q(quit), Y(yes), and than any other key.  Then it exits back to MA.  Is there a way to run a file or change how to exit from the batch files emu. to get back to MA?  It is a DOS game.  I'm running MA 2.10. :dunno
