MAMEUI and VirtualNES ALT Button
« on: February 07, 2011, 10:54:54 am »
I'm running MAMEUI with the KeyWiz and my P1 Button 2 is the L-Alt.  When I map the buttons in VirtualNES the ALT button causes the Alt Menu (on the File menu) to highlight which pauses the game.  I've tried mapping it to other buttons but would really like to use button 1 and 2.  I've also set up a different configuration in KeyWiz for VirtualNES that doesn't use the ALT button but having to switch it back and forth when going from MAME to VirtualNES is annoying.  Does anyone know of any other options?  I searched and didn't come up with much, so either I'm searching the wrong keywords or most likely missing something silly.

Thanks for the help.

Why not map your button 2 on the keywiz to something other than L alt and then set MAME general input to your new button and L alt will not have to be used.

I think that's the exact answer I was looking for.  I knew I was missing something silly.  I'll try it when I get home.  Thanks!
