What are you all using to protect the arcade crt at pc boot? Atom15?
Yes, Atom15. If you follow the instructions, it's pretty easy to flash the BIOS of the card. I don't recommend that you immediately flash a card which hasn't had some anecdotal success by others in Calamity's forums, without doing the safe test first. I got a really nice deal on a couple of 4850's, so I had spare just in case. Went right to flash, and it's been working beautifully. I always see these drivers recommended for use with GroovyMAME, but they seem to work fine with every application I have tried, where setting the game resolution is an option. I should also note that I'm currently using XP. I haven't played with this solution yet under Win7, so I can't offer an opinion for that OS.
Calamity deserves big props from the arcade crt users. I can't imagine using anything else for my setup.
